People of Substance with Alicia Barron

Alicia Barron

On this People of Substance by LemonSkies, a conversation with Alicia Barron! We went to undergrad together at Gustavus Adolphus College in a small town in Minnesota. That’s when we should have met but we got to know each other much later as grown ups. Better late than never.

We talked about the path that brought Alicia to the #nonprofit sector. what she does today at Infusion Access Foundation (IAF) advocating for patient access to treatment,  and we will also discuss Bowel Moments, a podcast Alicia started with a friend (that’s right, it’s about poo). About Bowel Moments: Real talk about the realities of IBD…On the rocks! Hosts Robin and Alicia interview people living with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or indeterminate colitis (collectively knows as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases or IBD) and the medical providers who care for our community.

People of Substance by LemonSkies are a series of conversations that introduce you to people working within the nonprofit sector. While we touch on trends and best practices, this is first and foremost about getting to know interesting individuals in our space.
